Team spreads
Team-level spread projections — goals, shots, shots on target, corners, cards, fouls and possession — blended from this season, last season, rolling form, schedule strength, opponent tier, head-to-head, venue and availability.
Team spread betting projections for Premier League supremacy, total goals, corners, cards and shots.
The team spreads board prices every Premier League fixture across supremacy, total goals, total corners, total cards, total shots and possession, then sets each projection against the live Spreadex quote to show the buy or sell edge.
Match-level spreads are driven by team strength rather than individual form, so the model blends Elo-based attack and defence ratings, promoted-team priors, home advantage and fixture context into a full distribution for each market.

Team spread board — Spreadex buy / sell vs model
Every Premier League team spread Spreadex prices, in the same layout as the player spread board. Edge is model minus buy (BUY) or sell minus model (SELL).

Supremacy spread betting explained
Supremacy quotes the expected winning margin for the favourite. Buying supremacy backs the favourite to win by more than the quote; selling backs the underdog to keep the margin down or win outright. Our projection is the mean of thousands of simulated scorelines, not a rounded handicap.
Total goals, corners and cards spreads
Totals markets are modelled with Poisson and negative binomial distributions fitted to Premier League baselines, then adjusted for the two teams' shot volume, set-piece frequency, pressing intensity and referee tendencies where cards are concerned.
Reading edge and confidence on the team board
Edge is the gap between the projection and the nearer side of the quote, expressed per point. Confidence downgrades that edge when sample size is thin, a side has just been promoted, or team news is unsettled — so a large edge with low confidence is a smaller real opportunity than it looks.
Frequently asked questions
- What is supremacy in spread betting?
- Supremacy is the quoted winning margin for the favourite. Buying backs them to win by more than the quote, selling backs the underdog to keep the margin below it, with profit and loss scaling per goal of difference.
- How are total goals, corners and cards spreads modelled?
- Each market is simulated thousands of times from team attack and defence ratings, shot and set-piece volume, game state and referee profile, producing a full distribution rather than a single estimate.
- Do you adjust for newly promoted teams?
- Yes. Promoted sides start from a lower-league adjusted prior with reduced confidence, which decays towards their current-season form over roughly 20 Premier League matches.
- How often does the team spreads board update?
- Spreadex lines are captured through the day and projections rebuild with each refresh. Fixtures are removed from the board once they kick off.
